
Celebrate Lexington’s 250th anniversary with the Carnegie Center during the May 2025 Gallery Hop: “The City is Alive.” The Carnegie seeks original pieces that show the vibrant history of Lexington: event photography, promotional posters for local events, and any medium that shows a time or place that has brought life and color to our home.

Eligibility: All submitted artworks must relate to current or historical Lexington, KY events, culture, and life. All mediums are welcome, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and digital art.

- Digital images of the artwork should be submitted in high resolution (300 dpi). Please include the title, medium, dimensions, and year of creation for each piece.
- Each artist may submit up to three artworks. A series of work may be submitted and will count as a single submission.
