Every year Manifest offers an opportunity just for graduate students to exhibit at our gallery in Cincinnati. This 19th installment of the Master Pieces project will continue to reveal the intensity and professionalism of students working towards their terminal academic degree in the field of art or design. Often the most exceptional work comes out of these artists’ immersion in their culture of study and intellectual pursuit. Manifest’s goal, therefore, is to select works that set the standard of quality that the artist is expected to maintain throughout his or her professional career and justify the degree of Master. The retrospective full-color hardcover Manifest Exhibition Annual publication, a ‘yearbook’ for the season, will serve as a visual documentation of these artists’ own benchmarks for years to come.

Application Deadline: March 28, 2025
Application Fee: $25 for one entry or $40 for up to four entries. $5 per each additional entry.
Eligibility: Open to current graduate students and MFA/MA (or PhD) degree recipients since January 2024. All entries must represent original works of art or design. Open to any and all traditional and non-traditional visual arts media, genre, subject matter, and content. There is no thematic guideline.

- Manifest accepts only digital images/files for consideration.
- All entry files (regardless of type or media) must be named LAST NAME_FIRST NAME_ENTRY NUMBER (for example: Jones_Mike_1.jpg). Detail, installation, or alternate view images must include the word ‘detail’ in the filename (for example:Jones_Mike_1detail1.jpg). If you do NOT include the term DETAIL as part of the filename for any additional, extra, installation, or closeup images supporting your entry these will be counted as additional separate entries and the system will expect a corresponding fee for them.
- Image files should be in HIGH QUALITY JPEG format, images should be no smaller than 1,000 pixels in any direction and be 72 DPI.

Fee paid by check (mail) payable to Manifest, or via PayPal using the payment button provided after form submission.
Digital images formatted as directed, loaded to the project Dropbox, or linked for video/interactive work referenced on the entry form.
